In 2012, Akropolis shopping and leisure centres in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda and Šiauliai offered shopping and leisure activities for 46.8 million customers, or 1 million more than in 2011.

“For the second consecutive year, the number of customers in Akropolis shopping centres has seen an increase of 1 million. This demonstrates that customers appreciate the range, quality and concept of goods, entertainment and services offered at Akropolis shopping centres (as a city within a city), where everything is made available under a single roof. As for changes, we first consider perspective of customer, i.e. will they find it easy to use, and whether they will find what they are looking for. As a result, we have increased the segment of goods for children in Vilnius Akropolis shopping centre; furthermore, branches of two new banks were opened, including a branch open at 8.00 AM”, says Renata Jakubčionienė, manager of Lease Division at Akropolis LT company, running Akropolis shopping centres in Vilnius, Klaipėda, and Šiauliai.

Last year, Akropolis shopping centres have further increased the supply of popular international trade marks: in Vilnius, Aldo, Denim Dream, Guess, Adidas Kids and over 15 other shops were opened; and in Klaipėda, Aldo, Mexx, Crem de la Crem shops were opened. In Kaunas Akropolis, Massimo Dutti, Aldo, Adidas, Jack&Jones, Gerry Weber and Timberland shops were first opened in the city.
